Q: Is there a charge for the second person living in the same apartment?
A: The second resident will pay an additional monthly fee and will receive the same basic services as the primary resident. Assisted living services will be based on assessment and fees will apply for each person.
Q: What basic service does the resident receive?

Q: Does Sharon Care Center Assisted Living provide any other services?
A: Residents interested or requiring wellness services may be assessed by the Assisted Living Director of Nursing.
Q: If my health starts to decline, will I have to leave Sharon Care Center Assisted Living?
A: No. As long as Sharon Care Center can meet the needs of the resident.
Q: Is there a security system provided?
A: Yes! You may exit anytime you wish, but a code will be necessary for
re-entry after the building is locked each evening. A fire alarm system with sprinklers is installed throughout the facility as well as smoke detectors in every apartment.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes. Pets must be taken care of without assistance from staff.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: No. We are a non-smoking health care facility.
Q: May I invite guests or relatives for private parties or overnight?
A: Yes. A separate dining area can be set up for you and your guests. Guests may stay overnight in our guest suite, if it is available, with meals included for a small charge. Meals may be purchased separately for guests who wish to join you in the dining room.
Q: If I’m gone for some time, do I receive a credit on my rent?
A: No. A credit on the meals will be given if you are gone 14 days or more, provided you have given prior notice to the Administrator.
Q: Can I be assured of an independent life style with as much privacy and dignity as I want?
A: Yes! Sharon Care Center Assisted Living’s philosophy is to allow you the freedom and independence you want, while at the same time assuring you of caring attention when you need it.
Q: What type of meal service will be provided?
A: Sharon Care Center Assisted Living has a beautiful dining room where meals are served restaurant style. If you require a special diet, including vegetarian, we will accommodate your needs.
Q: Do the apartments have kitchens?
A: Yes, Each suite has a kitchenette equipped with an apartment-sized refrigerator, microwave, sink, countertop, and cabinets.
Q: If I become ill, is there help available?
A: As an assisted living and skilled nursing facility we have a nursing staff on duty 24 hours per day. Help can be summoned by the emergency call system located in every suite.
Q: What type of transportation is available?
A: Sharon Care Center Assisted Living facility provides scheduled transportation to a variety of locations for shopping, dining out, and outings.
Q: Are the apartments furnished or unfurnished?
A: Apartments are unfurnished so you can bring your own personal, cherished pieces of furniture with you and decorate your apartment as you wish.
Q: How do I reserve an apartment?
A: By giving a deposit, you can reserve the apartment you choose or be put on waiting list for a future time. The non-refundable deposit will hold the apartment for forty-five days.
